Finally I watched this masterpiece of Fassbinder. I could not finish it some 25 years ago. Nor did I understand it well. I still have some difficulty with their dialogues. The movie did not portray convincingly the relationship between Reinold and Franz. Perhaps it was lost in translation. Perhaps I should read the book. Thank you for posting it. One question for Tulipaixanthinusa, why you delete the epilogoe?

the subtitles are …
the subtitles are taken from the original DVD, so the quality should be good. However, with a translation there is always something lost. I will upload the epilogue without sound, because i had to delete it due to copyright issues. You can watch it in a few days.
